Reverse Close Grip Lats Pull Down

This exercise is also known as : Close or Medium Grip Pulldowns.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS EXERCISE IS: To strengthen and develop your lats, especially your lower lat area.

Reverse Close Grip Lats Pulldowns Instructions :

  • Sit with your knees anchored below adjusted to your height pads of the machine.
  • Grab the bar with shoulder width, underhand grip.
  • Keep your back straight and slightly angle your back to the machine tower.
  • Pull down the bar to your upper chest.
  • Pause for a second there and slowly return to the start position with your arms fully extended.

Reverse Close Grip Lats Pulldowns Tips :

  • Great exercise to work the back muscles & widen the lower lats and serratus.
  • Allows you to do the chinning movement with less than your body weight.
  • Do not sway backward.
  • Concentrate to do the movement with your lats.
  • This exercise also develop and strengthen a little the biceps muscles.
