Meatballs With Pasta.

Abundantly, healthy and for many people a favorite Italian dish. Is there anyone who does not like pasta and meatballs for dinner? Unlike traditional recipes, these meatballs have low fat content, yet they have the good taste that you desire.

For six people.

One big onion, chopped.
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
4 cans (each after about 400 g) tomato salad without salt.
4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil.
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano or teaspoon dried oregano.
2 pieces of baked bread, one day old.
450 gr. ground beef.
1 medium-sized egg.
2 tablespoons milk got.
black pepper optional.
350 gr. pasta spirals (fusilli).

One serving contains:
430 calories.
10 gr. fats (of which 4 g saturated).
29 gr. proteins.
60 grams of carbohydrates.
420 mg of sodium (1.05 g salt).
4 grams of fiber.
1,079 mg of potassium.

Preparation time.

30 minutes.

Cooking time and frying.

80 minutes.

 

Preparation:

1. With a teaspoon of olive oil, lubricate a large pan and heat it to a medium-intensity fire. Fry onions and garlic for about 5 minutes until softened. Transfer 2 tablespoons of onions into a large bowl. Leave it aside.

2. Mix the tomatoes with their juice in a blender until the mixture becomes completely smooth. Put it in a pan. Let it boil at a medium temperature. Reduce the heat at low temperatures. Cover and leave to simmer for 30 minutes, with frequent stirring. Add basil and oregano after 10-15 minutes.

3. Slice some bread. Add the bread, beef, egg, milk and black pepper to the onion set in the bowl from before and stir to merge the ingredients. Shape 20 meatballs with a diameter of about 2.5 cm. Lubricate the pan with olive oil and heat it on medium-strength fire. Fry the meatballs in tours for about 8 minutes, until they get caught from all sides. After that drain them on a kitchen towel. Place the meatballs in a tomato sauce. Cover them and cook for 20 minutes with occasionally stirring.

4. In the meantime cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and mix with 3 tablespoons of sauce in a large heated plate for ambience. With a spoon, place the meatballs and the remaining sauce from above, then serve.

Try it also this way:

Instead of minced beef, make meatballs from minced turkeys meat or chicken breasts.

If you want a chilly pepper taste, into the meatballs mixture put 1/2 teaspoon dried dry (normal or chilly) pepper, to taste.

Try it with other forms of pasta, such as sliced dough pipes (foam). Integral pasta will add to this eating also fibers.
